About Us

The Sunshine journey started in 2013 when Dr. Tejaswita Sawant decided to work with two special kids and look at their wholistic development. The challenges were multi dimensional and the need of the hour was to work on multiple aspects at the same time. The first step was the engagement with parents, who needed extensive counselling and encouragement. Dr Sawant gave the parents a scientific explanation for various concerns. The scientific approach made the parents believe in the process and both kids started spending the entire day with Dr. Tejaswita. The Sunshine journey had begun !

Very soon, the word spread and parents started bringing their children to Sunshine and experienced the professional and caring approach of the Sunshine team. The fact that special children received therapies, academics, sports, music and a group of friends under a single roof, became the biggest plus point for parents to engage with Sunshine. 

Today, Sunshine is a family of over 300 people who take pride in working together for the betterment of our children.
