Therapies
Early intervention and regular therapies play a vital role in a special child's development process. At Sunshine, we have a team of inhouse therapists that help us integrate the therapies in the daily schedule of the child's curriculum.
Food and Nutrition
Special children need a special focus towards their diet. The inhouse team at Sunshine not only advises the parents on the dietary aspects but also provides nutritious and healthy food to the children everyday.

Sunshine has been training special kids on various sports activities on a regular basis. We conducted our first sports day for special children at the Shiv Chatrapati stadium at Balewadi in Pune. It was a proud moment for all participants and parents as well. We conduct regular yoga classes for children in the school. Daily exercise and fitness schedule is prqacticed at Sunshine.

Music has been known to calm the human mind and is a great de-stresser. Sunshine conducts regular music classes at the center and the children learn various musical instruments
parent counselling
Dr Tejaswita Sawant has been counselling and guiding parents on various aspects of a special child's development since 2013. She has built a strong reputation for herself based on her ability to scientifically analyze and plan the development and growth charts of children along with parents.

An individualized plan is made for each child at the center for academics. We follow NIOS Board at Sunshine and believe that a flexible academic schedule can not just help children educate but make them confident to pursue higher education too.

We make 2 outdoor trips in a month with our children. We went to restaurant and grocery store this month. Outdoor trips are excellent opportunity for children to learn the process and social etiquette.

In order to teach social skills, Sunshine arranges variety of outdoor and indoor events where children learn to work as a team and follow the social rules.
